Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant


We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Lisbon. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating unique and high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations. Your expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management will ensure the success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that showcase creativity, quality, and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency and high standards are maintained
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and mentoring
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to meet demand while minimizing waste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health code standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Implement cost control measures to achieve budgeted food costs without compromising quality

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and current food trends
- Ability to manage a team of diverse individuals with different skill levels
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in menu planning and cost management
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-end restaurant setting
Salary: $1300 per month
