Smelter Operator


As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the smelting process. This includes monitoring and adjusting temperature, pressure, and other factors to ensure efficient and safe operation. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise and making necessary adjustments to maintain production quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment including furnaces, conveyors, pumps, and control panels
- Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rates, and other variables to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production quality
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Keep detailed records of production levels, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or accidents
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in smelting operations is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Smelter Operator or similar role in a industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to smelting operations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed

Location:
This position is located in Split, Croatia. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Croatia.

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1500 per month.
