Senior Level Developer (Almada, Portugal)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Level Developer to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be able to lead projects from conception to completion. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications
- Lead and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet business requirements
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality coding standards are met
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in software development
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Python)
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of database design and management (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)

As this is a position for a senior level developer, we are looking for candidates who can take initiative and work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. Additionally, having a biometric passport is preferred for ease of travel.
