Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials such as soil, rock, and debris. Your main duty will be to safely and efficiently operate the excavator while following all safety regulations and project plans. This position requires someone with a strong knowledge of excavation techniques and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the excavator in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment
- Read project plans and follow instructions for excavation
- Dig trenches, level land, and move materials as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate work activities
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions
- Keep a log of daily activities and report progress to supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating an excavator
- Biometric passport or valid work permit for Porto, Portugal (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of excavation techniques
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-hiring drug test

Salary: $1300 per month
