Game Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Game Developer to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing exciting and engaging games for various platforms. You will work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to bring ideas to life and ensure high-quality gameplay experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new game concepts, mechanics, and features
- Write efficient and maintainable code in C++ or other programming languages
- Collaborate with designers and artists to create compelling gameplay experiences
- Optimize game performance and memory usage
- Troubleshoot issues and bugs that arise during development
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in game development
- Strong understanding of C++ programming language
- Proficient with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience with cross-platform development for mobile, PC, or console games
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of 3D math/physics concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of current industry trends
- Experience with multiplayer game development
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with accommodation support. This is a full-time position based in Bergen. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Norway.
