Junior Game Developer


We are hiring a Junior Game Developer to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a game developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing code for various game features and mechanics. This is a full-time position, open to women with or without experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other team members to design and develop new game features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for game mechanics
- Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that may arise during development
- Work closely with artists and designers to ensure gameplay matches the creative vision
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in game development technology
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving the overall quality of our games

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
- Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine) and scripting languages (Python, Lua)
- Basic knowledge of game design principles and mechanics
- Passion for gaming and keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively

Preferred Requirements:
- Prior experience with developing mobile or console games
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (Maya, 3ds Max)
- Experience working with version control systems (Git, SVN)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
