Foundryman

A well-established foundry company in Eldoret is looking for skilled and hardworking Foundryman to join our team. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metal castings using various molds and equipment. Your main duties will include preparing molds, melting metal, pouring molten metal into molds, and removing solidified castings from the molds.

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Fluent in English
- Contract job with a salary of 1100$
- No prior experience required
- Accommodation provided

Responsibilities:
- Prepare molds by cleaning and coating them with a release agent
- Melt metal in furnaces according to specific instructions
- Pour molten metal into molds carefully, avoiding any air pockets or defects
- Monitor the cooling process and remove solidified castings from the molds
- Inspect finished castings for any defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the foundry

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in a foundry is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well with your hands and follow technical instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina as this job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
