Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting sensitive information and systems from potential cyber attacks. You will work closely with IT teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures to mitigate risks. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring network activity, conducting risk assessments, and developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for information security. The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of information security principles.

Responsibilities:
- Identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify areas of vulnerability
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Train employees on best practices for information security
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on the latest trends in cyber threats and security solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI DSS
- Experience with risk assessment tools and techniques
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends or patterns
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to train employees on technical concepts in simple terms.

Location: Shanghai, China (visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $1200 per month (contract job)
