Information Security Analyst - Malaysia



As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's information systems. You will work closely with the IT team to implement and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures. Your primary goal will be to protect the company's sensitive information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems for any potential vulnerabilities or breaches
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software and other security measures
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Stay updated on new security threats and technologies to ensure the company's systems are protected at all times
- Train employees on proper security protocols and procedures

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies (e.g. firewalls, VPNs)
- Understanding of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001)
- Experience with incident response management
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear manner
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
