Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Porto. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and machinery at construction sites or other locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes according to manufacturer's instructions and safety regulations
- Inspect crane equipment daily before use to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with ground crew and other workers to ensure safety during crane operations
- Lift, move, and position materials and equipment using various crane controls
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating the crane
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including load weights and distances moved

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a crane operator, preferably in a construction setting
- Valid certification or license as a crane operator
- Strong understanding of crane operation techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for cranes
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating multiple types of cranes (mobile, tower, etc.)
- Knowledge of different rigging techniques for lifting various materials
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
