Entry-Level Librarian

We are hiring an Entry-Level Librarian to join our team at our library in Dar Kulaib. As a librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference needs, and promoting library resources and services. Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating materials and providing information on library services
- Catalogue new materials using the library's database system
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions, such as check-outs and returns
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading among the community
- Keep the library clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan events and activities for all ages
- Stay up-to-date with new releases, trends, and resources in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of library systems and databases (training will be provided)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for literature, education, and community engagement
