Game Developer - Braga, Portugal



We are a dynamic and innovative gaming company looking for a passionate and talented Game Developer to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing game mechanics, systems, and features that will captivate players and enhance their gaming experience. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month, without accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop game mechanics, systems, and features from concept to implementation
- Collaborate with the design team to create engaging gameplay experiences
- Write efficient code in C++ or other programming languages as needed
- Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that arise during development
- Optimize game performance for different devices and platforms
- Continuously research and implement new technologies to improve game development processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of C++ programming language
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in game development
- Experience with Unity or other game engines
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
- Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:
- Experience with multiplayer game development
- Knowledge of 3D graphics programming (OpenGL/DirectX)
- Understanding of game design principles
