Instrument Technician


We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on instruments and control systems
- Repair or replace faulty components and calibrate equipment as needed
- Diagnose issues using technical drawings, manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field

Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Familiarity with control systems such as PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical diagrams
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1000$ per month. Preference will be given to Canadian candidates, however all nationalities are welcome to apply. No English proficiency is required for this role.
