Instrument Technician - Khasab, Oman


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in our company.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Installing, calibrating, and maintaining various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, transmitters, flow meters, and temperature sensors.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with instrumentation and control systems.
- Repairing or replacing faulty instruments or components.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex problems.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar industry.
- A degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical fitness as the job may involve working at heights or in confined spaces.
