Database Administrator - Ufa, Russia
A leading IT company in Ufa, Russia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management systems, data backup and recovery procedures, and experience with SQL programming. The ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues is also essential. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month, along with accommodation provided. Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop database protocols for data security and protection
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data backups
- Troubleshoot any issues related to databases or applications
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database designs
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures
- Train employees on proper use of databases and related software
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in SQL programming
- Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
