Turner for a Manufacturing Company in Faro


We are a leading manufacturing company in Faro and we are looking for an experienced Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in turning and machining, as well as experience working with various materials such as metal, plastic, and wood. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month, including accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various turning machines, such as lathes and CNC machines
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining specifications
- Set up machines and adjust settings to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Turner in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in operating various turning machines, including lathes and CNC machines
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong understanding of machining techniques and materials
- Familiarity with using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.
- Biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Location:
This position is located in Faro, Portugal. While we prefer candidates who are already located in or willing to relocate to Faro, we are open to considering remote candidates who are eligible to work in Portugal.
