Cashier (Malayalee/Canadian)


We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at our busy retail store in Bansko. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Scan items, process payments, and issue change accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and advertisements
- Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Bag items carefully to prevent damage
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Count money in cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in transactions
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is an asset
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Malayalam for Malayalee candidates)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service
