Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements of land and its features. Your primary duties will include using specialized equipment to collect data, analyzing the data to create maps and reports, and communicating with clients to understand their surveying needs. You must have experience in the field and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and digital levels
- Collect data on land features including boundaries, topography, and structures
- Analyze survey data to create maps and reports
- Communicate with clients to understand their surveying needs and provide solutions
- Ensure accuracy of measurements by performing quality control checks on collected data
- Maintain accurate records of survey data for future reference
- Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers and architects on projects
- Keep up-to-date with new surveying methods and technologies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor
- Knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques
- Proficient in using computer programs for data analysis and mapping
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Physical fitness for working outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software
Salary: $1400 per month
City: Eldoret, Kenya (Indian nationals preferred)
