We are searching for a skilled Commercial Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Funchal, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial architecture and be able to work independently to design and oversee the construction of various commercial buildings. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts for commercial buildings
- Create detailed architectural plans and drawings using computer-aided design software

- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure deadlines are met
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and address any issues that may arise during construction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an architect, preferably with a focus on commercial projects
- Proficiency in computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1300$ per month.

Location:
This position will be based in Funchal, Portugal. However, remote work options may be available depending on project requirements.

Contract Length:
The contract length for this position will be determined based on project timelines.
