We are seeking a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and ensure that all dishes meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes or customer requests
- Develop new menu items and keep up with industry trends
- Decorate pastries and desserts using different techniques
- Ensure that all dishes are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and equipment
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration methods
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations and food safety standards
- Creativity in developing new pastry items while also maintaining classic recipes
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines during busy periods
- Strong leadership skills to train junior chefs and supervise kitchen staff
- Good communication skills to collaborate with the Head Chef
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Porto, Portugal. We welcome candidates of any nationality who have legal permission to work in Portugal.
