We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with developers and system administrators to ensure that our databases are properly designed and maintained.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery plans
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Optimize database performance through indexing and query tuning
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for new applications
- Provide technical support to end users for database related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with database design and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and high availability solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary: 1000$ per month

Location: Porto, Portugal
