We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team on a contract basis in Porto, Portugal. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases, handling cash transactions, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an ideal opportunity for someone without experience looking to gain valuable skills and experience in the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Process cash transactions using POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns
- Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions to customers
- Receive and verify incoming merchandise shipments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Previous cash handling experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Salary & Benefits:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
