Junior Accountant

We are a growing accounting firm based in Ufa, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position, open to both English-speaking and non-English speaking candidates. While prior experience is preferred, we are also open to hiring recent graduates or those without previous experience in the field.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks including data entry, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audits. You will work closely with senior accountants and have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in English is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within our company.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately input financial data into accounting software
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist with audits by gathering necessary documents and information
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting department

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- Strong math skills
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of other accounting software is a plus)
- Prior experience in accounting (preferred but not required)

Salary: Starting at 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Ufa, Russia (open to foreign candidates)
