To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures. You should also have good hand-eye coordination and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Attention to detail is crucial as any mistakes can result in faulty products.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Set up welding equipment based on project requirements
- Operate welding machines to join metal components
- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures and regulations
- Repair or modify metal components when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Physical strength and stamina to work with heavy materials for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of math and measurements for accurate cutting and fitting of materials
- Valid certification in welding from a recognized institution
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
