A reputable roofing company in Akron is seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for repairing and installing roofs on residential and commercial buildings. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per week.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific roof dimensions
- Install shingles, tiles, or other roofing materials according to manufacturer instructions
- Repair or replace damaged roofing materials such as flashing, gutters, or chimney caps
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while working on roofs
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Roofer
- Strong knowledge of different types of roofing materials and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without supervision
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with both residential and commercial roofs
- OSHA certification
- Valid driver's license
