Head Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to lead our culinary team in Mecca. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the menu, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high food quality and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position that does not require English proficiency or prior experience. However, having a biometric passport is preferred. Graduates with relevant culinary degrees or certifications are encouraged to apply.

As the Head Chef, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Designing and updating menu items based on market trends and customer preferences.
- Managing kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensuring food quality and presentation meets company standards.
- Implementing and enforcing food safety regulations.
- Collaborating with management to develop promotional events or special menus.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in an Indian restaurant setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine including traditional dishes, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi or other Indian languages preferred but not required.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Biometric passport preferred but not required.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is an asset.

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
