Gardener

A well-established landscaping company in Muscat is seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces for our clients. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Plant, water, fertilize, and prune trees, plants, shrubs, and flowers according to seasonal needs
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and weeding
- Install and maintain irrigation systems
- Control pests and diseases using appropriate methods
- Design and implement new landscaping projects
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and hand tools
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar role
- Knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers commonly found in Muscat
- Familiarity with gardening techniques such as pruning, fertilizing, watering
- Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and efficiently
- Good physical fitness as the job requires lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills in English to communicate with clients from different backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in horticulture or landscaping is a plus
- Experience working with irrigation systems
- Knowledge of different types of soil and how to improve soil quality
- Ability to identify pests and diseases common in Muscat's climate
