Chef de Cuisine
As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our kitchen and creating delicious and innovative dishes for our guests. You will work closely with our team of sous chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Our ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and meet guest preferences
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes to ensure quality and consistency
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and flavor profiles
- Ability to create new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites on the menu
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
Salary: $1500 per month
Location: Wiltz, Canada (open to Canadians or those with valid work permits)
