Network and Systems Administrator for IT Solutions Company in Vianden

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Vianden. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's network and systems infrastructure. Your main duties will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and maintaining security protocols.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of networking technologies and experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is also required. Additionally, knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Maintain network security by implementing appropriate protocols
- Install and configure hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Install and configure software applications on servers and workstations
- Perform system maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, etc.
- Troubleshoot server, workstation, and network problems as needed
- Keep track of inventory for network equipment and software licenses

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1700$ per month

Location: Vianden (Relocation assistance can be provided)
