Construction Manager

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in Funchal. Your main duties will include planning, organizing, and coordinating the construction process from start to finish. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and ensuring that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project timelines and ensure that all work is completed on schedule
- Manage budgets and ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure that work meets established standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Identify potential issues or delays and take proactive measures to address them
- Provide regular progress reports to clients or senior management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role (minimum 5 years)
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, and equipment
- Familiarity with construction software programs such as Procore or PlanGrid (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes in Funchal
