Crane Operator



We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects or materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and control hydraulic or mechanical cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects or materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine crane setup and rigging procedures
- Inspect and maintain cranes, including performing pre-operational checks and routine maintenance tasks
- Monitor crane operations and adjust controls as needed to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Record daily activities and maintain accurate paperwork related to crane operations
- Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while operating the crane

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid certification or license for operating cranes in the designated capacity
- Knowledge of safe rigging practices, load charts, and crane signals
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for precise movements of the crane
- Strong communication skills for effectively coordinating with team members
