Seasonal Executive Chef
As a Seasonal Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and managing a team of chefs in Gujrat. You will be in charge of creating menus, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This is a seasonal position with a salary of 1500$, and accommodation will not be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients
- Manage and train a team of chefs to ensure quality and consistency in food preparation
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to meet demand
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed menus
- Monitor budget and control costs to maximize profitability
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in fine dining restaurants or hotels
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Experience in menu planning and creating dishes that appeal to a wide range of tastes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with staff from different departments
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Biometric passport for international travel is preferred
- Minimum 12th grade (or equivalent) education
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
