Skilled Tiler
Location: Almada, Portugal


We are hiring a skilled tiler to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them
- Lay tiles in a pattern or design as per client's specifications
- Use various tools such as tile cutters, saws, and levels to ensure precise cuts and placement
- Apply grout, sealants, and other adhesives to secure tiles in place
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tiler or similar role (apprenticeship or vocational training will also be considered)
- Knowledge of different types of tiles and their installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ceramic, porcelain, marble, or mosaic tiles
- Familiarity with different tile patterns (e.g. herringbone, basket weave)
