Database Administrator (Chelyabinsk)



Our growing company is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Chelyabinsk. The ideal candidate will have experience with database management, data analysis, and troubleshooting. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month, and accommodation will be provided for foreign candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases for various applications
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Analyze data trends and provide insights to improve system performance
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database structures
- Train employees on database usage and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and database management software (e.g. Oracle, MySQL)
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:
- Experience working in a contract position
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS)
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
