Land Surveyor

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and creating accurate measurements of land and structures. This role is critical in ensuring the proper development and use of land for various projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide precise data for construction, mapping, and other purposes. This position requires experience in surveying techniques and equipment, as well as knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a biometric passport, be fluent in English, and have experience working in the field without accommodation. This job is based in Malindi, but is open to Indian nationals who are willing to relocate. The salary for this position is $1200 USD per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using various equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Collect data on land features, boundaries, structures, and elevations
- Analyze survey data to create maps and plans for construction or other purposes
- Work with engineers and architects to ensure accurate placement of structures on land
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to land use
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders regarding survey results
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment as needed
- Travel to different sites for surveying purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor
- Familiarity with surveying techniques such as triangulation, traversing, leveling, etc.
- Proficiency in using total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, and other surveying equipment
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to land use
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work without accommodation on site if necessary
- Biometric passport required for international travel
- Willingness to relocate to Malindi, Kenya if not already based there
