Truck Driver

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Bungoma, Africa. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another. Your main duties will include loading and unloading the truck, inspecting the vehicle for any mechanical issues, and ensuring all deliveries are made on time.

To excel in this role, you should have a valid commercial driver's license and a clean driving record. You must also have good communication skills and be able to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems. Physical strength and stamina are also important as this job involves lifting and carrying heavy objects.

Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods and materials from one location to another
- Load and unload truck with products or materials
- Inspect truck for mechanical issues before and after trips
- Plan routes using maps or GPS systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform regular maintenance checks on the truck

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Proven work experience as a truck driver is preferred but not required
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems
- Physical strength and stamina
- Familiarity with traffic laws and regulations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
