Job Title: Preservation Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Faisalabad. This position is open to candidates from all nationalities and does not require prior experience.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for maintaining and preserving historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure that preservation projects are completed in accordance with historic preservation standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting historical research and analysis of buildings and structures
- Creating preservation plans and proposals for clients
- Collaborating with contractors to ensure that preservation work is carried out properly
- Overseeing the restoration of historical elements and materials
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress of preservation projects
- Preparing reports on the condition of historical structures and making recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance
- Providing guidance on appropriate materials, techniques, and methods for preserving historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines for historic preservation in Faisalabad
