Surveyor Assistant in Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will assist the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys and collecting data for construction projects. This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available for international candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys using various equipment and tools
- Collect and record accurate data on site conditions, including measurements, angles, and elevations
- Prepare survey drawings and digital terrain models using AutoCAD or other software
- Assist with the preparation of reports, maps, and other project documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate surveying results
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience as a Surveyor Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other mapping software is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Porto, Portugal. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
