Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a specialization in structural design to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Structural Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative design solutions for various construction projects. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis and calculations to determine the best structural design for each project
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to develop design plans
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Review and approve project designs and plans
- Monitor construction progress and provide guidance to ensure adherence to design specifications
- Identify potential issues or challenges during the design phase and propose solutions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and new technologies related to structural design

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in structural design within the construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficient in using CAD software for drafting designs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience working on large-scale projects
