Head Pastry Chef

Are you a skilled and creative Pastry Chef looking for a new challenge? Our luxury hotel in Faro is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to oversee our dessert menu and lead our pastry team.

Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new pastry dishes that align with the hotel's culinary concept and standards
- Train, supervise, and motivate the pastry team to maintain high quality standards and efficient performance
- Ensure proper inventory control, ordering, and storage of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create seasonal menus and special event desserts

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, equipment, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creative flair with an eye for detail

Salary: $1400/month
