Cashier - Muharraq, Bahrain
We are in search of an experienced Cashier to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions and providing excellent customer service to our valued customers. Your main duties will include processing sales transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong numerical skills and attention to detail. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card payments
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security protocols
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong numerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
