Junior Android Developer


We are looking for a motivated and skilled Junior Android Developer to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. This is a contract position that offers a salary of $900 per month with visa sponsorship available for non-English speakers.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features for mobile applications
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Fix bugs and improve application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Stay updated on emerging trends in mobile application development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles
- Experience developing mobile applications for the Android platform
- Familiarity with Android SDK and popular third-party libraries
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards and best practices for mobile application development
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of Kotlin programming language
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data format
