Entry-level Formworker in the US
We are seeking an entry-level Formworker to join our team in the US. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for building, setting up, and dismantling structures made of concrete, metal or wood. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine formwork specifications
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble and set up formwork using hand or power tools
- Pour concrete into forms and smooth surfaces using trowels or screeds
- Install anchor bolts, braces, and other components as needed
- Remove forms after concrete has cured and clean work area
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction methods and safety procedures
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to read blueprints is an asset but not required
Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1400 per month.
