Contract Interpreter in Braga



We are seeking a skilled and experienced interpreter to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, over the phone or via video conference for meetings, conferences, and other events
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Accurately convey the meaning and tone of the original message while maintaining cultural sensitivity
- Research and prepare terminology related to specific fields or industries
- Manage any necessary equipment or technology for interpretation services
- Ensure that all interpretation is delivered in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English and at least one other language (e.g. Portuguese)
- Proven experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and ability to adapt to different communication styles
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and maintain accuracy under time constraints
- Flexibility to work irregular hours or travel as needed

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Braga, Portugal (own visa required)
