Cashier

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services offered in the store
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages or stock issues to management
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, and store security
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store
Requirements:
- No prior experience is required as training will be provided on-the-job
- Must have a valid biometric passport for identification purposes
- Strong communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Excellent math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds when needed
Working hours:
This is a full-time position with an expected salary of $1400 per month. The working hours will be discussed during the interview process.
