Junior Information Security Analyst



A reputable company in Utena is seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual, preferably of Egyptian nationality, with excellent English language skills and a passion for information security.

As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the company's sensitive data and ensuring that our information systems are secure from potential threats. Your main tasks will include conducting security assessments, implementing security controls, monitoring network activity, and providing recommendations for improving our overall security posture.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in information security. While prior experience in this field is not required, we do expect you to have a basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security standards
- Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability assessment tools
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify potential risks
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and investigate any identified incidents
- Implement security controls such as firewalls, access controls, encryption, etc.
- Perform regular audits of our systems to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats
- Provide guidance on best practices for secure coding and data handling
