Junior Preservation Architect

We are seeking a Junior Preservation Architect to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will assist in the preservation and restoration of historical buildings and structures. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting research on historical buildings and structures
- Create detailed drawings and plans for preservation and restoration projects
- Collaborate with senior architects and engineers on project design and planning
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess the condition of historical structures
- Prepare reports on findings and recommendations for preservation strategies
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in preservation projects
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and new preservation techniques

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field (preferably with a focus on historic preservation)
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building materials, and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for creating technical drawings
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Passion for preserving cultural heritage and history
