Junior Commercial Architect (Faro, Portugal)


As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for assisting with the design and planning of commercial buildings in Faro, Portugal. This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1700$, and accommodation will be provided. Previous experience is not required, but a passion for architecture and design is necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project team to assist in the design and planning of commercial buildings
- Conduct research on building codes, materials, and construction techniques
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Assist in developing project timelines and budgets
- Communicate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus
