Smelter Operator


We are hiring a skilled Smelter Operator for our mining company in Eldoret. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the smelting process in our plant. This is a contract job with a salary of $1500 per month, with free visa and ticket provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the smelting process according to established procedures
- Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure proper functioning and quality of output
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Maintain accurate records of production, equipment maintenance, and inventory
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and productivity of the smelting process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Smelter Operator or similar role in the mining industry
- Knowledge of smelting processes, equipment, and materials used in production
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams related to smelting operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to work in an industrial setting, including standing for extended periods of time

Preferred:
- Experience working with different types of ores or minerals in the smelting process
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining industry
