Typesetter

We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Sheduva. As a typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials. This includes newspapers, books, magazines, and other publications. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and correcting text and images for accuracy and layout
- Setting text in various fonts, sizes, and styles
- Adjusting spacing, margins, and line breaks as needed
- Incorporating images, graphs, and charts into layouts
- Collaborating with editors, designers, and printers to ensure high-quality final products
- Staying updated on industry trends and software advancements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a related role
- Excellent skills in typography, layout design, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual aesthetics
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members of different backgrounds

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with non-Latin scripts (e.g. Cyrillic)
- Understanding of printing processes such as color separation and prepress preparation
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for digital publishing

Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Sheduva (no accommodation provided)
